Local Authority Services
Report regarding Street cleaning, dog fouling, litter, abandoned vehicles, fly tipping, street names, graffiti, bin collections, planning (including enforcement issues).
North Duffield Parish Council are responsible to 42 of the village streetlights. North Yorkshire Council (NYC) are responsible for the others. If you would like to report a fault with any of the streetlights please contact the clerk or report it direct to NYC.

You can approach the North Yorkshire Police Traffic Bureau to report an area where you feel motorists often break the speed limit.

All incidents should be reported to the police on 101 (non emergencies) or 999 for an emergency. Our local PSCO is happy to assist with issues and makes regular visits to the village.

The Parish Council have asked North Yorkshire Council to consider reducing the speed limit on the A163 on many occasions. Unfortunately we have been unsuccessful to date. The attached document outlines to reasoning for this decision.
