As a Councillor you become someone your community will look up to for help, guidance and support. A member of the community with the power to influence decisions for the benefit of the parish. Seeing your community change for the better, as a result of decisions you have helped to make, is something that can give you a sense of achievement and pride. The Parish Council deal with all kinds of issues with probably the most common topics being planning matters (as statutory consultees), highways issues and campaigning for and delivering better services and facilities.
