Community Speed watch:

Unfortunately, due to other commitments, the chair of our community speed watch is standing down. Without a chair and more volunteers this group will not be able to continue. I’m sure you will appreciate what an asset this group is to the village as it helps monitor speeding and reports are sent to the police proving if there is a problem with people speeding in the village. Without this data it is difficult to demonstrate to the police and North Yorkshire Council what further measures need to be taken. If you can spare a bit of time either on a regular or just an ad hoc basis please do get in touch. All training will be provided by current members.
